Larry Martin Hagman (born September 21, 1931) is an American film and television actor, producer and director, primarily in soap operas and television, who is best known for playing John Ross "J.R." Ewing, Jr. in the 1980s television soap opera Dallas and as Barbara Eden's master (later husband) Major Anthony Nelson in the 1960s sitcom, I Dream of Jeannie. (via Wikipedia)
